Julianne is President of Awake at Work – a consulting firm dedicated to “bringing conscious choice to work” so that executive leaders and management teams develop more ethical, socially responsible and conscious workplaces. She provides system-wide consulting, team development, and executive coaching to leaders across many industries. She also facilitates professional management seminars across the United States and Canada, and has taught M.B.A. students for the past 10 years at Pepperdine University, CSU Northridge, and Claremont Graduate University.

Prior to starting her own business in 1996, Julianne had over 20 years of management experience in various industries where she developed and integrated positive culture change and customized organizational systems in corporations undergoing rapid growth, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring. She understands the various systems that aid or inhibit healthy organizations and work relationships, and helps clients get to the root cause of what to change and how to do it. Julianne is a member of the Board of Directors for the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Foundation, and an educational consultant and facilitator at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. She has been a community organizer and volunteer for over 10 years, working to protect rural habitat from over-development, and serving on the Foothill Area League of Conservation Organizations & Neighbors and the Board of the Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council. She completed her Ph.D. and M.S. in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Her doctoral research examined social responsibility in consulting to the healthcare industry. As a public speaker for over 10 years, Julianne has addressed many professional groups on a broad range of topics relevant to understanding the ethical impacts of our choices in the workplace and society. Julianne teaches Communication Skills for Business Transformation and Organizational Behavior for Business Transformation.
